Hambone Posted January 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2018 Picked this up over 20 years ago and it's been in my cedar chest with other uniforms. I'm mainly a helmet and firearm collector. Originally bought it to display, but figured it would look silly with a combat web load out on it, and removing the tags would be criminal So I bought another and put this one away. themick Posted January 8, 2018 Share #4 Posted January 8, 2018 Outstanding!! In all the years I've been in this hobby, and that's a lot of them, I've never seen an M-41 jacket with cutters tags. Congratulations!! Steve
doyler Posted January 8, 2018 Share #5 Posted January 8, 2018 I have one.Came from a 17th Abn vet who sent it home in 1943 and then never wore it after the war. I would say its at least $300 and go from there.Never know what its worth until it hits an auction and the stars and clowns all align. I have 2 M43 with tags date late 1945 and a size 50 M43 with tags.
Hambone Posted January 8, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted January 8, 2018 Thanks guys. I have an early M.43 with the cutter tags as well, though it is a small size, it still fits like about a 38-40.
everforward Posted January 8, 2018 Share #7 Posted January 8, 2018 Both beauties. I can remember buying an M41 for a buddy to reenact in the late 70s for $25.00, still folded up in the flat box it came in....no cutter tags that I recall but it was flat new.... bobgee Posted January 8, 2018 Share #8 Posted January 8, 2018 Collectors often say 'mint' when describing things that ain't exactly 'mint'. These two jackets are MINT! No question. Amazing M-41.
stealthytyler Posted January 9, 2018 Share #9 Posted January 9, 2018 I have one.Came from a 17th Abn vet who sent it home in 1943 and then never wore it after the war. I would say its at least $300 and go from there.Never know what its worth until it hits an auction and the stars and clowns all align. I have 2 M43 with tags date late 1945 and a size 50 M43 with tags. Worn jackets without tags sell for $300 on eBay all the time. I would guess that this would auction for well over $
