I should've added the seller and id #'s. I just typed in US Army Austria and scrolled down and there they were. the seller is; cakecooker101 Car: 255388547959 MP Office front: 255388523531 They seem pretty proud of their stuff at $25 a photo. SARGE Posted September 22, 2022 Author Share #30 Posted September 22, 2022 Very neat photographs. Here is a nice late USFA named grouping to an Engineer. Notice this Ike has the small rank chevrons.

easterneagle87 Posted September 25, 2022 Share #36 Posted September 25, 2022 Post war Europe is a fascinating time. Army units that had flair and great insignia (US Berlin, Constabulary, Austria Occup., etc) This is a great thread and cool rabbit hole to look into. Here are two bullion patches being offered by the same seller (platoon317) on ebay right now.

tredhed2 Posted September 25, 2022 Share #39 Posted September 25, 2022 Actually, the Constab patch was not worn by the either the 4th or 24th Constab Sqs. Both wore the USFA patch. 24th Sq wore the Constab patch upon being transferred to Herzfeld, Germany 1949. The 4th was inactivated in Austria 1949. Your Tact Cmd Austria is a rare one for the series, which is extensive. ASMIC pubbed an article on these patches in The Trading Post (Apr Jun 2020)

Stony Posted December 9, 2022 Share #50 Posted December 9, 2022 My most recent acquisition. This image is straight up on my desktop, but only posts in this configuration. If I change the image on my desktop, it still leans left. Anyone know why? Thanks!
