Mr.Jerry Posted December 20, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2017 As I have a few days off now that the semester is over, my wife and I were able to take a drive and hit some of the antique shops. I came across this and thought it was cool enough to share here; all wood/paper based walkie-talkie, with awesome "camo" that would have connected to another one via the string, to actually convey the voices (a suped-up version of the tin cans & string) sadly it was priced a bit much for my tastes ($60) but still a pretty neat (probably) wartime toy. siege1863 Posted December 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted December 21, 2017 An earlier discussion of the one in my collection linked below. Complete ones are a rare find. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/76424-toy-walkie-talkie/?hl=walkie

sundance Posted December 21, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 21, 2017 Interesting item. Boy it was awful trying to get those football players to go in the right direction.
