mikedon Posted December 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2017 I recently was able to purchase a post war knuckle knife made by M.H. Cole. In the late 1960's Mr. Cole made 14 of these knives using brass castings left over from the approximately 300 he made during the war. This one is #8 and has a flat grind. I was also able to acquire Mr. Cole's working copy of his Book III. The book has 100 of the 220 pages annotated with his comments and drawings. It is very interesting, I think a real piece of history.

30-30remchester Posted December 18, 2017 Share #9 Posted December 18, 2017 I have one of Cole's early 9 knuckle knives. These WW2 knives had a spear point rather than this clip point. Yours is a beautiful blade.
