vintageproductions Posted December 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 13, 2017 Does anyone recognize this squadron patch? Could be any of the branches as it is on one of the early 37J type model flight jackets. Super well made. I'm leaning more towards Navy but I could be totally wrong. vintageproductions Posted December 16, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted December 16, 2017 General feeling is that it is very early Navy, but no clue on designation.

ocsfollowme Posted December 16, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 16, 2017 I've spent a few hours on this one learning about aviation from the 1930s. I emailed the Naval Aviation Museum. Do you think that it is a blimp or a bomb? What does the red dot symbolize?

ocsfollowme Posted December 16, 2017 Share #6 Posted December 16, 2017 I've been wondering if it could have something to do with the 12th Observation. I know that none of the insignia that I have found has the star, but they all have the orange circle.
