Tonomachi Posted December 12, 2017 Share #2 Posted December 12, 2017 I don't own any of these patches or this uniform but I kept photographs of them for my reference. The first patch seems older and original while the second one I'm not sure of. The patch on the jungle jacket looks original.

Tonomachi Posted December 14, 2017 Share #11 Posted December 14, 2017 Nice stuff these made in thailand? I'm not sure but I think the first patch is SVN made which looks like the same patch sewn on the pocket of the jungle jacket. The second patch I'm guessing could be Philippine made. FIGMO Posted December 23, 2017 Share #20 Posted December 23, 2017 Very intersesting pics! The top on shows an AC-130E/H in Gunship Grey. This dates this photograph to the 1974-75 time period. The 16th Special Operations Squadron, which flew AC-130A/E/H from Ubon RTAFB, moved to Korat RTAFB in September 1974 when the 8th TFW moved from Ubon RTAFB to Kunsan AB, ROK. The bottom pic shows an AC-130E armed with 1 40mm Bofor cannon and a 105mm Howitzer. This armament pacakage appeared in SEA in 1972.
