I picked up these two USMC shelter halves in a lot along with a set of regular Army shelter halves. Included were some all-wooden OD pegs and poles along with a tent rope. Do those poles and pins belong with either set? Sorry for the photo, but there's now snow on the ground and I wasn't able lay them out for a better one.

Are there any stampings on the poles?

Support our troops...abandoning the War on Terror is not an affordable luxury.

I'm so old, I still call W.W.II U.S. militaria "war surplus".

The poles look post Ww2/ Vietnam era.Not impossible as these shelter halfs were issued out for years.I think I havr a couple green section and recall a 1963 date

 

Typically I see the unpainted type that fold for WW2.Thats what came with a shelter half I picked up a few years ago
