Massachusetts and Connecticut NG Aviation Early 70's ?

Anyone know or have a good source of reference or information on Army National Guard Aviation in the early 70's ? Specifically CT and MA National Guard Units ? ( Unit designation & type aircraft operated ect ) .

 

I have been looking for many years and not been able to locate anything definitive.

Hi Robert -- All I can add is from the records of a CTNG pilot who retired in 1986. Beginning 1970 his unit is listed as HHC, 43d Bde, 26th Inf Div out of Hartford, CT. Most of the fields for MOS indicate Rotary Wing Pilot, though in 1977 he's listed specifically as UH-1 pilot. A newspaper article from 1973 about a 4th grade class getting their wish to see a helicopter shows this officer as the pilot of a UH-1.
