Garth Thompson Posted December 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 2, 2017 I recently picked up these three CPO rates at the last Franklin, TN TMCA show. #1 NAP gold bullion on aviation green gaberdine (the picture makes the material look darker) #2 NAP black on white duck cotton #3 Transportation Airman (1948-1957) bullion on aviation green gaberdine (again darker in the picture)

navyman Posted December 3, 2017 Share #3 Posted December 3, 2017 I really like the aviation green T rating, but I think the job title is another one. Maybe a teacher/instructor in aerial gunnery. The only reason I am thinking this is the rating badge is a ww2 one with the red chevrons. If it was 1948 it would have blue chevrons. I actually think they went to the blue chevrons prior to the end of ww2. None the less nice rate.
0bx Posted December 4, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 4, 2017 Love the bullion CPO NAP. WW2 era(through 1948) bullion CPO rates are my primary collecting interest so thanks for sharing.
