Bigdibbs88 Posted November 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 14, 2017 Hi Guys- picked this up at an antique shop the other day. Photos are in as found condition, uncleaned. I only know enough to be dangerous so I have a few questions. I believe these ones with wood pommels are earlier, any idea what year it was made? Im assuming first half of 43 or earlier? I havent seen one with a wood pommel before...are these tougher to find? Any idea on value? Thanks!

dustin Posted November 14, 2017 Share #7 Posted November 14, 2017 pretty rough shape, they really are not that hard to find but its an example, right!? value in that condition ...maybe $30-$40. There actually is a generic dating system to these knives, your Robeson was manufactured in the second half of 1943 into the first half of 1944. the scabbards too.
