Thisisme Posted November 16, 2017 Share #28 Posted November 16, 2017 Ebay has been full of WWII Purple Hearts the last two days. They just pulled that Iwo Jima listing. Bid was over $1000. I don't know if that is the going price for one or not.
jeffs1130 Posted November 20, 2017 Share #29 Posted November 20, 2017 Looks like it's open season again on eBay!! Check out some of the Purple Hearts! USMC KIA at $2000 and rising!! Lots of blank WWII ones fetching crazy prices!! I've let a few blank ones go for a nice return! I also picked up a real nice WWII Army KIA grouping with both certificates, photos, letters, and more for $170! Came from KIA's niece, no one left in the family to care for it after her... So she wanted to find a new home for it. Glad I could help! Well Good Luck Bidding or Selling! Tis the season!
CNY Militaria Posted November 27, 2017 Share #30 Posted November 27, 2017 A whole bunch more have been adde. I count about 15 different PH medals and/or groups listed at the moment.
FFZFlyer Posted December 22, 2017 Author Share #31 Posted December 22, 2017 Apparently e-bay has hired a new PH policeperson because there was a noticeable absence of PH medals listed today. In fact, when I looked about 2:00 pm PST there were none. Don't know if they have been knocked off or if its a reflection of the holiday, but I didn't find any. While there were some SS;s, not many, and no DSC's, NC's, or AFC's, except for the foreign sellers. Very interesting. The active selling season on PH's is apparently over for now.
