BEAST Posted November 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2017 I was fortunate to pick up this cocktail shaker with the markings for the Indiana National Guard's aviation section. I believe that it dates from the early to mid-1930s. In the late 1930s and early 1940s, the aircraft had the markings of 113th Observation Squadron. Below is a photo of a Douglas O-38B with the same insignia. This photo was taken in the early 1930s.

Kurt Kurt, I tried to open it, but I think it is stuck together. I researched these vintage shakers online and the advice to unstick them is to soak them in warm water. I'm not sure if I want to try that until I learn more about them. I'm wondering if there were matching glasses or a serving tray?
