Topeka State Journal Thursday 24 Aug., 1972, pg. 18:OTTAWA - Christopher M. Ott, 76, lifetime Ottawa resident and retired secretary-treasurer of the Ottawa Wholesale Grocery Co., died at his home here Wednesday night.He was born Dec. 8, 1895 at Ottawa. He was a graduate of Ottawa University and of the University of Lyon in Lyon, France.A veteran of World War I, he was an Army second lieutenant in the 76th Field Artillery Division.
