manayunkman Posted November 3, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2017 I was never aware of this uniform's existence until I received the posted photo. The pride in me says "you've never seen this uniform it must be rare". Also the seller wants 150.00 for it. Any advice is appreciated.
Teamski Posted November 3, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 3, 2017 I'd be suspicious of it myself. I only know of the Army Green and seersucker uniforms myself. I am not an expert, but this seems fishy to me. -Ski
cutiger83 Posted November 3, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 3, 2017 This looks like a civilian women's suit. The jacket does not have a collar. The pockets are too low. It looks like the bottom of the coat was cut off to make it shorter. It does not look like a military uniform at all. If you want proof, I would ask for a picture of the tags. Thanks, Kat

manayunkman Posted November 3, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted November 3, 2017 I started both threads not knowing which one would get the most traffic. This one can be deleted as the other has more information. Thanks
WWII Legacy Girl Posted November 3, 2017 Share #6 Posted November 3, 2017 It's a women's Army uniform from the 1970's.
WWII Legacy Girl Posted November 3, 2017 Share #7 Posted November 3, 2017 I don't think it's worth $150. People keep driving the prices up with overpaying on things.
gwb123 Posted November 3, 2017 Share #8 Posted November 3, 2017 I believe this came after the seersucker . Gawd awful color. These used to be found on Goodwill racks and surplus stores everywhere, but are becoming less common. Unless it is documented $150 is way too much. manayunkman Posted November 3, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted November 3, 2017 According to information on my other post, about this uniform dress, it came in three shades of green? And is the jacket harder to find as the dress was usually worn without it?
