Here's a box of test sample fabric from the army testing factory in Mass.

All was going into the dumpster Posted Image

Some very unique patterns and cloth weights

Nice find and always interesting to see these things. I must say though, a few of those patterns are down right ugly and I don't see them as being very effective.

I was getting out just as the ACU's were being adopted and thought, and still do, that it is one lousy pattern.

Very intresting Owen.Thanks for posting.

Most if this type stuff may never be seen as stated it gets destroyed or thrown away.

Funny some patterns look like fabric off grandmas couch...:D

Most of that I’m guessing dates from 2002-2004 as most if not all was tested during the CCU/CU/ACU trial period except the brown ACU interim sample.

I wonder why the test marpat is in there, coming from an army testing factory.

Might be Canadian CADPAT; MC marpat is hugely close to that.

It's not CADPAT, CADPAT is far greener. The test MARPAT is the desert one top left, possibly IIRC the urban one below as well.

Looks like it might be AOR2?
