jakelives Posted October 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2017 This story is about a reenactment exercise in Uji, Japan with a group of very dedicated Japanese reenactors representing B Co. 100th Infantry Battalion 442nd RCT. I'm not a reenactor myself, I'm primarily a writer and photographer (personally and professionally) who also puts together uniforms and equipment display for presentations at schools and events. I came across this group while researching about Philippine Scouts (I have no idea how they even came up in my search engine) and intrigued by them got in touch with their Facebook administrator. He offered to let me come along on an exercise to write a story. Reenacting America’s Nisei Soldiers in Japan
