Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted October 30, 2017 Share #38 Posted October 30, 2017 I have been informed that there are multiple people out there that believe I was being serious, I was not. Believe me, I can tell the difference between a half sized plastic toy and a steel helmet. Per BagmanL6's wishes I will call him out, thank you for your help, information, time spent corresponding with me, and luck. I apologies if my etiquette and manners are not up to par, I didn't give out any names or info when I referenced our PMs, only you and me understood, now everybody can enjoy the joke. Signed George P.S. I am not an adult.

jweitkamp Posted October 31, 2017 Share #41 Posted October 31, 2017 Am I missing something ? I've been in Africa and unable to look at messages more than every half hour. By the way these are only used by opposition forces. So in the end it's a real helmet but the camo is an illusion.
Bodes Posted October 31, 2017 Share #42 Posted October 31, 2017 Nice, is that ballistic grade plastic???? Unfortunately not, the keyword being experimental...After many ARVN troops suffered serious head wounds from ballistic test (apple on the head at fifty paces) mishaps, the design was deemed a failure....The project was scrubbed and most of the existing stocks destroyed...That's what make these extremely rare and desirable....Bodes Btw...Buyers beware, there's a guy on ebay selling salad bowls claiming to be these uber rare helmets....These are easy to spot, as they are thicker, slippery inside, and have the distinct smell of vinegar....
