huntssurplus Posted October 29, 2017 Share #10 Posted October 29, 2017 I believe I saw something similair to this at a show I went to a few months ago. However it was a kid that was playing with it, i couldn't believe my eyes. A really great find, glad a forum member was able to buy one of these. Thanks for sharing. Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted October 29, 2017 Share #13 Posted October 29, 2017 Liner seems to be missing, too bad, nice helmet regardless. I just wonder what liner it used? Is the cover CISO made? The smaller size makes sense for ARVN use, the average Vietnamese was smaller than the average American, I know the ARVN had a lot of problems with the M1 garand and M14, the M1 carbine and M16 were perfect for them. Blacksmith Posted October 30, 2017 Share #24 Posted October 30, 2017 Owen - I believe Snoopy is actually wearing your helmet in Doyler's pic (without the cover). I'd print out that picture of Snoop', and keep it with the helmet. To offset the cost of you new helmet, I will gladly buy one of your old crusty ARVN helmets. I'm here for you Pal!
