Not seeing a Findagrave memorial for Medill, but you could use the info from application to create one, then submit a request for a photo of his headstone. Good luck! I know quite a few people between 28 and 32 who still live at home with their parents (not a bad thing, just the way of the times). Couldn't imagine them being called up to go to war.
