I never tire of looking at this thread and reading the posts. To have an entire building dedicated to your collection is all collectors dream, at least it is mine. Wonderful display! Absolutely stunning!Arch

Is that XM1906 an Ames or Springfield?

It's made by Ames.

I would need one of these buildings if I'm ever going to be able to display my collection. My wife doesn't take to well to all of the "olive drab" as she likes to complain about. Mine is all in boxes and my closet.

My 15yr old son and I just started collecting militaria. Looks like we're gonna have to find another hobby though. You have it all. Awesome collection it looks like WW II blew up in your garage. Envy doesn't begin to cover it. Great job!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Robin!!!

What a great aviation display :) You have all kind of stuff :)

But If I sugest one thing... try to change the parachute harrness on this manequin for AAF model... this green harrness are only NAVY type late war Q.A.S. parachute harrness... for AAF would be better kind of seat pack AN6510 or back pack parachute B-8 with C-2 raft kit...

the best regards,

JerrY K.

Not much has been going on in the "war building" lately. I did add this shelf unit to store the handcarts on, and to clear up some floor space.

WOW!

I just put a steel shelf together and was exceptionally proud of myself for not breaking anything in the process, and then I see you've got a whole building. haha

Something to work towards I guess. Awesome collection!

Hi Robin,

This is Ron at Lincoln City.

The 'Celebration of Honor for Veterans' went well.

Had a Stuart lite tank, WWII Jeep, WWII British Motorcycle and a Korean War Jeep show up along with a couple vehicles from the National Guard.

Also about 20 Veterans on their Harleys and about a dozen Veterans with their vintage vehicles.

The unscheduled escort of all these vehicles thru town was a hit.

Had about 350 visitors at the display with about 25 WWII Veterans signing in, even a Pearl Harbor survivor.

Thanks for the personal showing of your Collection/Museum. Its everything that's posted on this site and more guys.

See you at Rickreall in November or the Rickreall Gun show in December. I have my same booth.

Later,

Ron

Robin, I just went through the many pages of your collection once again. It's just a fantistic collection. What item(s) are you looking for to get to add to your collection? There can't be much left out there you don't have. :D Ray

Hi all

Sorry I know I am butting in here, but thought it a very interested game, and if I may I have one to start off;

How about the large canvas demo bag, which carried the small yellow TNT box's, it has the large adjustable strap and has a smaller sister bag which holds a metal box
