I assume the blade, originally left "bright" has been parkerized? If so I'd call you bayonet a typical WW2 reissue. If still in original bright blade configuration you really do need to get a proper scabbard for it. Either the all leather Model of 1905 or canvas and leather Model of 1910. During WW2....which is when the plastic M3 scabbard was used....very few, if any, bayonets retained the original bright blades. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
