The Colling's Foundation was in town this past weekend, with their B-17, B-24, B-25, and P-51. While I was browsing the merchandise table, two ladies came up and wanted to know where to go for their ride on the B-24. Turns out, their father was a B-24 pilot in WWII, so they wanted to fly in one of the type of planes their father had flown. One of the ladies was actually wearing her father's A2 Jacket! Check out the patches for the 90th Heavy Bombardment Group (Jolly Rogers) and the 319th Bombardment Squadron (Asterperious). Awesome!

Well that's a heartwarming story. Daughters proud of their dad. I wonder if she knows what that jacket is worth. I'm going to guess that she has a good idea.

I suspect she knows: it's priceless.

That is exactly where that jacket should be. I suspect her dad would be proud she is wearing it.

Good for her.
