I buy stuff due to personal appeal generally and not "what its worth"....

 

I have the same failing

Often I will pass up a "good buy" because it doesn't interest me, but load up on common "junk" that for whatever reason appeals to me. "Exotic" 30-06, nice clean .50 BMG of any type except Ball always wind up in my trunk and don't ask me why, because I don't know, but I NEVER pass up .50 M48 & M48A1 spotter-tracers unless they are priced absurdly. Also, like you, I love "Match", but my tastes in those run to the pre-war ones. And 99.9% of my stuff is 30-06 or .50. (I have one sealed box of 20 .45 tracer "survival" rounds)

 

I collect strictly for fun and don't resell anything, unless it's something in a lot I bought that didn't catch my fancy, so I have to like what I buy.
