Dave G Posted October 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2017 This insignia is from the estate of a veteran who flew B-25H ground attack aircraft. He called it a "night intruder" insignia. Can anyone ID the squadron to which it belongs? Thanks in advance. Dave
ragpick Posted October 20, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2017 Insignia associated with the 1st Air Commando Group of the 10th Air Force operating in Burma in 1944 and 1945. This unit had a bomber section operating B-25s so likely it was their emblem.
tredhed2 Posted October 20, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 20, 2017 I found your patch here, you can search for info...and your patch needs to be oriented with the bomb nose straight up http://www.cbi-history.com/part_i.html#

KurtA Posted October 20, 2017 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2017 Really nice patch. No doubt about it being original CBI theater manufacture -separately applied goat skin layers- top layer bat having a shine, background having rough texture.
