Pima Air and Space Museum

I had a chance this past weekend to visit the Pima Air and Space Museum and would highly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in Southern AZ.

Museum consists of numerous hangars and a huge outdoor display. Pretty incredible collection, most of the aircraft I had only ever seen in pictures.

Looks like a great museum. Hope I can visit the USA again next time, so much to visit, so much to see, and when I remember the last visit less time to have a look at all I want.

It is an excellent museum, lots of A-2s on display. But for those of you who like four legged transport, make sure you check out The Museum of the Horse Soldier in Tucson also.

I've visited the Pima museum a couple times over the past 25 years and it never disappoints. Fabulous collection!

You can do a virtual walk-through of much of the display using Google street view. It's not immediately apparent how to do it, though. Approach from the parking lot and look for the blonde woman in light tan clothes, she will be your escort.

I went to high school in Tucson in the 80s and went there often. My last visit was in 2015 and I was amazed by how much PASM has grown! If you visit in the summer, you only have a few hours in the morning to tour the outside exhibits before the heat becomes overwhelming.
