INCREDIBLE!!! These things find ME, I don't find them. Picked this bad boy up today at the Oaks PA Gun Show!!!! This is the 2nd one I've been lucky enough to acquire. And this one has been sealed in the can since 1945 - looks like they were made last week.

I just noticed..... it's a belt of 105, not 100 --- I was so excited yesterday I didn't even notice that :)

Very cool. 4 armor piercing incendiary and 1 armor piercing incendiary tracer per every 5 rounds. And in beautiful shape.

Are the headstamps on the cases DM?

The dealer had these too....... .30 Incendiary and API. But after he got my money for the belt of .50's he wasn't so desperate and wanted too much for these - had he shown them to me before I would have insisted on a package deal

Not trying to "bump" this..... just want to add an afterthought.

If anybody has any of the .30 Incendiaries or API they'd care to part with - I'm interested. Clips or singles, either one would be fine.

Thanks, Art

WOW!!

I've fired a few dozen cans of .50 from a M2 when in was Weapons Dept on CVN-73! These look cleaner than what we were shooting in the early 90's (which was probably from the 70's LOL..

Great find.  Congrats.  What is the current law concerning owning vintage/WW2 AP ammo?  I live in Texas.

Thanks, Al

That is a nice find. Here are photos of an identical box that I saw at the Knob Creek machinegun shoot on a dealer table, several years ago. Another dealer had individual sealed boxes of .50 Caliber API. You can still find good stuff if you're persistent.
