FSBE Posted October 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2017 Hey everyone Have not posted in a while and I bought this M1 from Steve k quite a bit go but i have yet to see it in hand as its back home. Id'd to T/5 George E Pittinger who served in an HQ unit driving trucks for the Trailblazers for the entirety of the division's service in WWII according to what his family put on his WWII memorial. The pictures are Steve's too so a big thanks to him for supplying me with this helmet and the well executed photos.

FSBE Posted October 9, 2017 Author Share #13 Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks very much gentlemen! I am not sure if the patch is fixed onto the cover somehow but I think it might just be tucked in. I also have contacted the trailblazers organization to see if they have more info on my guy.
