Teamski Posted October 27, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2011 I think that I have a Bermuda,I'll try and dig it out. Here is what I have for them. I think the Mildenhall one is pretty obscure. I got the patch when I was stationed there. The Navy left several years ago. -Ski

bronxboymike Posted October 27, 2011 Share #9 Posted October 27, 2011 NAS Atlanta circa late 60's, Naval Air Facility Azores circa 1960's. NAS New Orleans circa 1960's, NAS Glynco circa 1960's. NAS Norfolk circa 1950's, NAS Atsugi circa 1950's. NAS Jacksonville circa late 1960's. And not a navy patch but I figured I'd throw one in for fans of the Corps because it's a cool patch, MCAS Kaneohe Bay circa 1960's. Naval Aux Air Station Fallon circa 1950's, NAS Norman Circa 1940's. I figured I'd save my favorite for last, NAS Cubi Point, this patch was purchased by a VP crew member in 1950-1951. Patch has a lot going on it. Hope these help. Patchcollector Posted October 27, 2011 Share #15 Posted October 27, 2011 Awesome patches peeps!! :bravo: Now this is the way a thread should look, all filled out with posts of cool stuff to look at and drool over! :jeal0001: I think that my favorite is the Trinidad! Well, here goes my contribution, not sure how scarce they are,but I love the exotic destinations! Back 2,I think I mistook this Bahamas one for the Bermuda, but I'll keep looking! Patchcollector Posted October 28, 2011 Share #19 Posted October 28, 2011 With flash The fifth is for NAF Sigonella.I had alot of trouble trying to get a nice pic of this one,the glare was really bad.Notice the Italian manufacturer. With flash. No flash The last two have already been posted by others,I just wanted to throw mine in the mix too,I took backside view of each. The Lakehurst I have always liked, because of the Zeppelin connection, and the MCAS Kaneohe Bay is like Bronxboymike says, just a pretty patch,it looks Japanese made. Back Last Back I have a small collection of Guantamano stuff, all still in the original manufacturers wrapper.I was getting alot of glare from the flash, so I took some without the flash, and brightened them in Photoshop. This first is for the Naval Air Station.I think this one is older, being cut edge on twill. This one was taken with the flash on. This one was taken with the flash off. The second is for the Naval Station, this one looks newer.Flash was on for this pic. Flash was off for this pic. The third is for the Naval Base,Marine Barracks Ground Defense Force, this one is one of my favorites!I put my hand in one of the pics to show the big size of this patch. With flash. Without flash The fourth one is for the Naval Base, and has the words Support and Defend on it.I think that the manufacturer of this one is scarce to find too. No flash.
