12 O'Clock High TV Series

Any fans of 12 O'Clock high the 60's TV series? I currently watching the series on YouTube and impressed by the overall look and quality of this early Quinn Martin series.

I believe we've had previous fan posts on here for the show, and I know we've had discussions on the movie.

 

I watched it religiously when I was a kid, and was shocked to find out one of my classmates had a father who not only flew on a B-17 but had been interred in Switzerland for part of the war.

It was filmed at the Chino Air Field in Chino Ca.

Some footage also in the UK I think though that might've been the Movie. I know both used a lot of stock wartime footage as well. Interestingly the B-17 used in the TV series couldn't fly so was only used in the taxi footage. I remember watching the show after school in the 60's and rewatching it brings back some fond memories of sitting in front of our old B&W TV...

It's fine to bring it up again as it hasn't been discussed in awhile.

 

What we do sometimes is combine and consolidate threads as opposed to deleting them.
