Hello, I picked this WWII ID tag at a local antiques tore today. It belonged to an employee of the US Rubber Co. in the Detroit branch.

Thanks for looking,

Jacob

I have always liked things like this. I wonder if anyone has really done good research on the factory employee badges. I believe they (employee badges) were required by the War Department to get some of their contracts. Side note, my father-in-law was fingerprinted by the FBI during WW II when he was just a toddler, his father was an electrician who worked at what is now White Sand Missile Range, prior to the atomic tests.

Very nice. I think these are an up and coming kind of thing and currently underrated. I just picked up a non-photo one for my wife for her W.O.W. uniform.
