otter42 Posted September 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2017 Traded for this at a gun show yesterday. Neat story but doesn't line up. Says he was with the 9th Army, and found this on the second floor of a German Police Station on May 7, 1945 at Lugwigslust Germany. But then states that the investigator traced this to a B-29 that was in the British Isles assigned to the 6th Bombardment. But then says the plane was shot down over Berlin with no know survivors. Not sure if he got his facts mixed up, or would like any thoughts from you. Thanks for any help on this one. Still a cool piece of history with documentation.
