caseloadr Posted September 12, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2017 Saw a funny sight of one of the local Amish farmers driving what I believe is a old air force tow tractor going down the road. Anyone else ever used one for farming? I haven't gotten a picture of it yet as the rig drives down the road fairly fast. Just odd to see the Amish driving one. kammo-man Posted September 12, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 12, 2017 I thought those cult guys were not allowed to drive anything other than a horse drawn buggy.
caseloadr Posted September 13, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted September 13, 2017 Depends on the church elders. I live on Ohio/Indiana border Indiana Amish half a mile away drive open top buggies and no tractors. In Ohio here they have tractors and enclosed horse drawn buggies. I have know some of the Amish to leave their church and join the military very few but they do at times. All have cell phones and computers in their businesses just not the home.
