Frank@hoboken Posted September 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2017 I recently purchased what a seller claimed was a repro Whitlock helmet. I think it mat be real though. It was dirt cheap. I mean dirt cheap. Hoping someone came help checkit out. I've posted top and bottom comparison. The top is the supposed repro the bottom is the real one. Both are inside views. The rest of the pics are the rest of the helmet Thanks.

Frank@hoboken Posted September 10, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted September 10, 2017 Edit: he claimed merely to be an imitation. No particular make. I thought it resembled a Whitlock.

Frank@hoboken Posted September 13, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted September 13, 2017 I am trying to find the stamp. I'll look under the headband. In the meantime I'll post more pics. It looks really good.
Redlegwolf Posted October 1, 2017 Share #7 Posted October 1, 2017 I'll go ahead and put it out there that no one is making reproduction helmets of that quality; and that the reproductions that are out there are incredibly obvious. But, I would remove those paper clips holding on the front plate....
