Wearp Posted September 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2017 Picked this up in a lot of camping stuff that included some military. I assumed this was a civilian pad but checked the tag and found this. It is a twin sized comforter in khaki color.
BEAST Posted September 9, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2017 It appears to be the comforter that went with the M-1935 officer's bedroll. There should a post about them on the forum, but I can't find it.

Quartermaster Posted September 18, 2017 Share #5 Posted September 18, 2017 The Comforter, Cotton Filled was a OD colored GI quilt that was issued for use on the individual (twin sized) bunks usually in the cooler climes. You often see them rolled up at the foot of bunks in those all encompassing barracks photos. Although they certainly could have been spirited away for all sort of uses, their intended use was in a static housing setting.
