dan_the_hun84 Posted September 3, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2017 After his passing I found some of my grandfathers USAF four pockets and Ikes, one I noticed has set of chevrons were these odd, ribbed woven chevrons, they are more "white" than the issue ones are are flat woven. He was stationed in Japan and Korea during the conflict- could these be some locally made ones? Or maybe German made he got a hold of somehow? patches Posted September 4, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 4, 2017 Here's some Army equivalents from the same basic time period, in the form of the Army's small 1948 reg chevrons. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/197614-theater-made-1948-regulation-chevrons/
