I'm having trouble confirming what this visor is. It came out of an auction lot and naval headwear is not one of my strong suits. Is this a CGA officer visor? What era would it be? Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Silver strap and silver oak leafs & acorns and CG Aux buttons... Plastic cover, 1970s onward .... A black hat band, and later a CG Blue hat band with the circular CG Aux emblem, to the 1980s. Looking at the circular pattern and the hole in the cover, would guess that it would have been the CG Auxiliary circular metal emblem and the wearer punched the center screw post thru the cover also. A CG blue cap band and the Auxiliary spread eagle, 1980s onward..

Art Caps also manufactured the enlisted "flat" white cap of the 1960s-1970s.
