rrobertscv Posted August 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2017 Still sorting through all the letters I picked up awhile back. These actually belonged to a soldier whose hometown is just down the road from where I live. This set has well over 100 letters, V-Mails and documents in it. Can someone tell me what battle this German leaflet is referring to, could it be the Bulge? He also has a letter dated June 7, referring to D-Day and one dated May 8, referring to the war ending. Herbf Posted August 11, 2017 Share #7 Posted August 11, 2017 The leaflet showing the map was dropped after the Battle of the Bulge. The Allies told the German soldier what was supposed to happen and explained why it did not.
