viking73 Posted August 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2017 Good Morning, I recently purchased this 374th Strategic Missile Squadron patch. It's well used, but the worst part is that the entire back of the patch has paper and glue on it... I just tried a trick I read here - I wet part of the patch and scraped it with a fingernail. Luckily, it seems to be coming off okay (see back pic below, check the right side). After work today, I'll see if I can remove the rest of the paper and I'll post an "after" shot then. -Derek

viking73 Posted August 4, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted August 4, 2017 Great looking patch. Can you soak it in warm water? Hi Ernie, Yes, I did indeed soak this patch in warm water. I stuck it in for about 15 minutes just to check it out. After that short amount of time, it was already working. Some spots were more stubborn that others so I let it soak for another 3 hours. I just scratched it off with my fingernail. -Derek
