lambo35 Posted July 31, 2017 Share #8 Posted July 31, 2017 Doyler, what is the significance of the red paint? I have an M30 [RFX55, P1] that was red in an earlier period then was over painted white. Do the colors represent time eras/periods? Chuck.

Chuck as for the red I understand this to be early practice version...post WW1 and 1930s according to some of the sites and maunuals. The grenade body of this one has the square shpoulder seen of the post WW1 Mk11 type and have read where grenade bodies were reused as practice and painted accordingly.I hadanother that was done in blue at one time with the lead plug in the base.
