Honoring a 15th Air Force Casualty Grouping

A friend of mine found this locally and allowed me to be the new caretaker. Spent a few hours last night researching newspaper clipings, and I build a temporary display for the grouping until I can put it in a better display. Staff Sergeant Beallias RIP, and thank you for my freedom. Group came with engraved PH and one engraved AM and one not engraved.

I enjoyed researching this hero and it just reminds me that there are so many forgotten sacrifices made by American Citizen that were called upon, in our Nations Defense.

This is my grandmother (Germaine’s) first husband. So much of his stuff was lost when a family member just gave it away. 
 

my grandfather also served in the war, my grandmother knew him as a family friend.  He actually helped her track down what happened to Nicholas which is how they ended up reconnecting and later marrying
