AndrewA74 Posted October 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 27, 2008 Hello, I picked this up in PA on my last "invasion" for $2, and it seemed worth it. I recently saw an F4U corsair tray in the same series in a TRANSIT VALLEY MILITARIA catalog for $95!!! It is circular, 10 and 3/4" inches in diameter. It has a bronze colored bottom. I was blown away, but what exactly is this and what time period is it? . Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Andrew
Orgone Posted October 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 28, 2008 My personal opinion is that these trays are post war made. During the war, metal was not used for such items as it was in short suppy. Great buy for $2.00, however!
