carrabassett Posted July 25, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 25, 2017 Just picked this up from a friend and I had a few questions. It appears to be a WW1 helmet that has been repainted with a darker green finish but definitely very old considering the chips, patina and aging wear. It is also named to a US Marine, W.L. Hinckle. Could anyone shed any light on the repaint or the Marine? Thanks in advance. Jim
