Bob Hudson Posted July 22, 2017 Share #3 Posted July 22, 2017 Did they fight aside Marine units when they were part of the 106th Infantry in France in WWI?
subsystem4 Posted July 23, 2017 Share #4 Posted July 23, 2017 I thought that style of canteen cover was a WWII thing? The marine canteens I have seen from the WWI era are lined m1910 type with marine eagle snaps or the p1912 type with the extra rows of stitching on the backside. Can anyone enlighten us? -J
