1963chevy Posted July 20, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2017 I need help in identifying the maker of the grips of am M1 bayonet. I have an M1905E1 bayonet that has a left grip that has a very small trademark molded into the inside face of the grip. The trademark appears to be a triangle with circles inset at the points of the triangle. I have attached a photograph of a drawing I made of the trademark that is enlarged so that you will be able to study the mark. Under the triangle are the letters COGEUI, at least that is what I think they are. Also molded into the grip is what I think is a part number: B8056. I have attached the photo of the drawing of the trademark. I will attempt to attach photos of the grips themselves to this topic after I have reduced the file size of those photos. I would appreciate any information that can be provided about the maker of these grip. Thanks.
