Desert Shield Red Sea Gate Keepers Patch

Another patch I received today, that I can find nothing about can anybody help please

looks like a novelty patch celebrating long time at sea without a port call probably in 1990 somewhere near the Red Sea hence the gatekeeper reference Know way to know what ship by the patch

Well, I am not sure that the patch is only specific to one ship. I remember this patch as belonging to one of my friends that was stationed on the USS Kennedy during Desert Storm. The Kennedy was part of the Red Sea Battle Group. Here is the list of all 5 Carriers that were in the Red Sea during 1990. So technically it could have belonged to someone on any one of these ships or their escort ships. Semper Fi - Jeff
