GlennH60 Posted July 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 9, 2017 I was metal detecting an early 19th century home site location in Cameron, SC and found the World War I dog tag of James L. Dobbs. At the same site I also found a 114th Infantry Regiment (Company A) collar disc. While I cannot know for sure I am assuming that the collar disc belonged to Mr. Dobbs. I have tried diligently to find information about Mr. Dobbs and his service to no avail. I really would like to locate surviving family and give these relics to them. If anyone could point me in the right direction-or better yet provide some useful information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Glenn
