Book bag

This burlap bag was given to me by Don Malarkey years before HBO made him famous. It looks like it was used in England possibly before D-Day. He didn't tell me any details and I didn't ask. Kind of regret it now.

That is interesting, and nice Robin.

PS - I am still looking for the book with the blanket roll instructions. One set had photos, and the other was all text. I think I know where the text-only instructions are and will get those posted.

robinb, interesting sack you have and one I have never seen an example of before. Kidbrooke is an area of London it's in the South East 3 district. I have a WWII US Forces telephone and address directory for the whole of London, however I have searched an hour for it and cannot find it, that would probably tie the military book depository down to a particular address in the area of Kidbrooke.

I will make a note to try and send you an address once I locate the directory. From that you may be able to Google street view the building.
