A picker friend sold me this and I went to the estate to get the garrison cap and found an envelope with the history of 242nd FA Bn. Dr L-a-n-i-e-r was a medical officer with the BN. Not sure what type liner, cant really read the marking. Helmet shell is fixed bail with 69 marked in it. Dont see any other marks. All from his estate. Want to see any other photos just ask. Enjoy.

Thanks, was worth going back to the estate sale and getting the hat, also found the history of 242nd FA in an envelope with a letter stating it was from Camp Detroit which i believe was in France. It chronicles their entire history from landing to being dis-established. Marking every day and month and number of shells fired. I will scan & post it later.
