Siamundo Posted June 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2017 I picked this guidon up a few years ago but was never able to positively ID it. With the Roman numeral 16, XVI, I thought it would be a cinch but I was never able to piece anything together. Hoping that if I post it here a member(s) might recognize the unit. I am guessing it is 1st Cavalry related, and possibly either aviation or air assault with the 'Flying Horsemen' nickname. OEF 06-08 is possibly for Operation Enduring Freedom. 8665?, I have no idea. It is a nice full size, double sided, heavyweight guidon so it doesn't strike me as a souvenir piece
