I had called Lt Neiler about 15 years ago when doing research about southern France, to interview him about his role there. He had been very nice, but said he didnt remember much, etc. I had no clue at the time who he was, otherwise I would have been a bit more persistant.

Lt Neiler is mentionned in this video, one of his interrogation reports can be seen towards the end:
